Brite tank theft at Alpine Beer Co.

January 17, 2013 By Mike Shess

Over the weekend, a 1500-pound, 30-barrel brite tank was stolen from Alpine Beer Co. The large piece of brewing equipment was removed from the breweries new, under-development expansion on Tavern Road & Taberna Vista Way. “This took more than a few people,” says Steve Lejman, Alpine Beer Co. General Manager, in a phone call Thursday afternoon. Lejman explained that also stolen was a U-Haul trailer that was parked across the street. Presumably, the trailer was used in the theft.
