Upcoming Rock Bottom Dinners

This week, solely by coincidence, both Rock Bottom locations in San Diego will be hosting brewmaster dinners:

Gaslamp - Jason Stockberger (click to ‘have a beer with the brewer’) & Chef Josh Tripi’s menu:

rb san diegoFirst course: Ceviche served with baked pita chips, paired with Jalapeño Kolsch; Second course: Macadamia nut-crusted mahi-mahi served over cilantro lime rice with pineapple beurre blanc sauce, paired with Maibock Lager; Third course: Beer-braised carnitas served with charro beans and roasted succatash, paired with Roasted Oak Tequila Red Ale; Fourth course: Tres leches cake with organic berries, paired with Cocoa Nib Stout on cask.

Details - Thursday, May 2 @ 6:30P; $40 plus tax & tip; Reservations: 619-231-7000

La Jolla - Marty Mendiola (click to ‘have a beer with the brewer’) & Chef Alberto Lucatero’s menu:

rb la jollaFirst course: Ceviche marinated in lemon and lime juice, onions, jalapenos, toamtoes and cilantro; paired with chili and lime-infused Cerveza Especial; Second course: Traditional Mexican pozole soup you garnish to your liking with cabbage, onions, radishes and fresh spicy salsa, paired with North Star IPA; Third course: Thinly-sliced, roasted pork loin stuffed with chorizo and Brown Ale onions with a light mole sauce, paired with Longboard Brown Ale; Fourth course: Deep-fried chocolate ice cream with crisp cinnamon crust and chocolate bourbon sauce, paired with bourbon barrel-aged Scottish Ale.
