Rip Current, the San Marcos-based brewery that just belatedly celebrated their one-year anniversary this past weekend, is throwing their biggest tap takeover ever tomorrow night at Barrel Republic in Pacific Beach. The new bar on Garnet Avenue is known for its use of iPourIt, an innovative technology that allows patrons to pour their own beers from self-serve taps.

20 beers from Rip Current, helmed by esteemed homebrewers-turned-pros Paul Sangster and Guy Shobe, will be available: Marine Layer Hefeweizen, San Diego-style Hefeweizen, Palomar Chocolate Porter, Western Swell Weizenbock, Impact Zoombas (Pink IPA made for Brewbies Fest), Cutback Kolsch, Kona Storm (nitro), Vanilla Storm, Barrier Reef Nut Brown, Caught in a Rip Triple IPA, Rescue Buoy RIS, Scotch Oaked Black Lagoon Scottish Strong, Old Man’s Old Ale, Hazardous Hazelnut Porter, In the Curl IIPA, Black Lagoon Scottish Strong, Rip Ryeder Hoppy Session Red, Lupulin Lust IPA (CO2 and nitro [first time]), and Ankle Breaker Sticke Alt.
