Pub 980, one of two Vista locations of Belching Beaver, hosts their sixth annual classic car show on Sunday, June 16, including live music, a raffle, and of course classic cars. After seven years of self-distribution, Kearny Mesa-based Societe Brewing announced today that they’ve signed on with Scout Distribution for their portfolio of beers throughout San Diego. In addition to Societe, Scout now represents San Diego breweries 32 North, Abnormal, and Harland, plus five more California-based beverage businesses.
Mike Hess Brewing’s pediatric cancer research fundraiser over the weekend raised more than $52,000 towards their $100,000 goal, with more than 30 people getting their heads shaved in partnership with St. Baldrick’s Foundation (with an assist from local barber shop Mister Brown’s).
